Ardelyx’s first approved product, IBSRELA® (tenapanor) is available in the United States and Canada. Ardelyx is developing XPHOZAH® (tenapanor), a novel product candidate for the control of serum phosphorus in adult patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to phosphate binder therapy, which has completed three successful Phase 3 trials and an additional two Phase 4 open label trials. Ardelyx has a Phase 2 potassium lowering compound, RDX013, for the potential treatment of elevated serum potassium, or hyperkalemia, a problem among certain patients with kidney and/or heart disease and an early-stage program in metabolic acidosis, a serious electrolyte disorder in patients with CKD. Ardelyx has established agreements with Kyowa Kirin in Japan, Fosun Pharma in China and Knight Therapeutics in Canada for the development and commercialization of tenapanor in their respective territories.
Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and motivated Manager/Senior Manager level G&A Business Analyst to support the Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Corporate Communications functions of our commercial stage biotech company. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems and providing data-driven insights to senior management to drive strategic decision making across these key corporate functions.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial, HR, supply chain and corporate communications data to identify trends, patterns and insights that can inform key business decisions.
- Work with business stakeholders to develop business requirements and process improvements to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure successful execution of business strategies.
- Develop and maintain business performance metrics to track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership to communicate findings, insights and recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of data across all business systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Conduct benchmarking and industry research to identify best practices and trends in G&A functions.
- Develop and maintain data models to support scenario planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with IT to identify opportunities to automate and streamline business processes.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to support strategic business goals.
- Provide training and support to business users on new systems, processes and tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on G&A processes and systems, providing guidance and support to business stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing G&A policies and procedures and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Position Requirements
- BA/BS, MBA a plus
- 8+ years of experience in commercial analytics or related field.
- Experience in direct-to-patient and digital marketing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze and interpret data from multiple sources.
- Experience working with financial systems, ERP systems, and other business software applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of biotech/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Experience with market research, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex data to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

What we offer
The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is $131,850 to $161,150. Ardelyx utilizes industry data to ensure that our compensation is competitive and aligned with our industry peers. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target and equity awards, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
Ardelyx also offers a robust benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with generous match, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, equity incentive plans, health plans (medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision) and basic life insurance and disability, as well as up to 10 hours of paid vacation per month, and at least 10 paid holidays.
