Job Description & Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a data storyteller to join our team! Our Hasbro Pulse organization is looking to find a true partner and Business Analyst. In this role, you'll serve as the key contact for capturing and analyzing reporting data to provide actionable insights that shape business strategies. You will influence data driven business decisions that results in quantifiable outcomes and understanding complex business relationships.
What You'll Do:
- Business Reporting & Analysis: Oversee rhythm-of-business reporting (WBR, MBR, QBR), generate insights for senior stakeholders, make data-driven recommendations, and track key performance indicators.
- Performance Monitoring: Prepare management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance data, identifying trends, solving issues, and developing actionable recommendations.
- Data Exploration: Dive deep into data to uncover valuable insights, using findings to guide critical business decisions and strategies.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Work with cross-functional teams to address specific business queries, creating impactful visualizations and statistics that enhance decision-making and business performance.
- Business Metrics: Develop and document consistent, clear definitions for key metrics that align with company objectives and support performance evaluations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams (IT, DE, BIE, PM) to ensure cohesive decision-making across the business.
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, with proven skills across relevant roles.
- Advanced Excel skills (experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros a plus).
- Intermediate SQL expertise for designing queries and recommending data structures.
- Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data to senior stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to think strategically about business problems and opportunities.
- Familiarity with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby).
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation range for this role. The range listed is just one component of Wizards of the Coast’s total compensation package for employees. Starting: $87,800
Ending: $147,000
