Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Business Operations Analyst will collaborate closely with the Service and Application Portfolio teams to drive the adoption of Service and Application Portfolio products and processes. This role requires advanced skills in process execution and data analysis to support practitioners and stakeholders. The analyst will partner with personnel at all organizational levels and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including monitoring and enforcing data and process compliance.
- Respond to new requests for process and data support.
- Provide reporting assistance and conduct education/training sessions.
- Assist with Service and Application Definition and the association of Offerings with Configuration Items.
- Process refinement and optimization and documentation.
- Establish Dynamic CI Groups.
Process Custodian Duties:
- Engage with Service and Application Portfolio Practitioners and related process stakeholders.
- Facilitate the organization’s adoption of Service and Application Portfolio Management best practices.
Operate and manage steady state, day-to-day needs including:
- Monitor and enforce data and process compliance
- Respond to new requests for process/data support
- Provide reporting assistance
- Provide education and training as needed
- Assist with process refinements
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Proactively identify and resolve data or process issues
Assist in operationalizing Service and Application Portfolio Management:
- Coordinate with related process stakeholders to establish data and process compliance metrics reporting
- Prepare supporting documentation
Provide guidance to portfolio practitioners on:
- Service and Application Definition
- Associating Offerings with Configuration Items
- Establishment of Dynamic CI Groups
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure portfolios meet related process needs.
- Collaborate across projects/programs to account for interdependencies.
- Support project management activities required to track progress.
- Confidently and effectively communicate with managers, team members, stakeholders, and business partners.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst for applications and products
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
- Experience implementing technology updates and changes enterprise wide
- Experience managing relationships with end users and stakeholders across different leadership levels
- Experience with updating and maintaining documentation for users
What we offer
The hiring range for this position in Washington is $99,900.00-$133,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
