Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will provide enterprise integration solutions to various departments at Fisher Investments. You will analyze business processes, elicit requirements from business and IT users, and support enterprise integration team in automating the legacy processes. You will contribute to modernization efforts across Technology and the Shared Business Services Group (SBS) with exposure to many lines of business. You will learn about the wealth management field, and have a supportive, team-based environment. You will report to an Application Development Team Leader within the Shared Business Services group.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with partners to understand our goals and objectives
  • Guide discovery, brainstorming sessions, and one-on-one interviews to elicit requirements related to Integration platforms
  • Manage the product backlog for enterprise integration platforms and prioritize them based on changing requirements
  • Gather integration-specific our requirements to ensure that the data movement between applications meets our needs
  • Develop appropriate documentation to convert our requirements into technical requirements, develop data mappings, map traceability from our needs through requirements to test cases
  • Conduct Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement and planning meetings
  • Partner with the Team Lead/Tech Lead throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure clear goals are defined and documented, the execution of deliverables meet requirements and business need, and tasks and the project itself are closed out appropriately based on defined and documented requirements
  • Make decisions related to assessing appropriate course of action, identifying those issues that need to be escalated to senior management
  • Communicate business changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to senior management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are fully understood
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the business and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically
Senior Business Analyst - Job requirements

Your Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a business analyst or a similar role
  • Experience working with Mulesoft, UiPath, BizTalk or similar integration technologies
  • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience

  • $110,000 - $155,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
