Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for building requirements through extensive analysis of current processes and a compelling view of the future-state.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements.
- Engage with business partners and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
- Promote architectural consistency and usability standards.
- Participates and manages completion of all cycles of testing including application development testing, system testing, regression, user acceptance, data validation, performance and stress, or other testing as required.
- Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information.
- Develop comprehensive requirements documentation including both written requirements and visual mockups and wireframes.
- Maintains documentation relating to projects, including creating and maintaining process diagrams.
- Create user acceptance test frameworks and execute such tests during the project.
- Work with IT teams to assist during requirements elaboration and stories creation process.
- Seek and audit requirements traceability matrix with IT teams.
- Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk.
- Provide analytical assistance to team members to resolve application incidents, maintenance items, and enhancement requests.
- Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.
- Coordinate application support with other IT teams.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s or higher degree in technology or related disciplines
- 8 or more years of industry experience in Insurance (brokerage or carrier side) or an allied industry
- Financial services software implementation experience a plus (vendor, customer, or consultancy)
- Expertise in mockup technologies: Figma, ADOBE XD, HTML, JavaScript
- Proficient in querying and profiling data using SQL, Excel etc.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to document technical requirements effectively, using appropriate terms and vocabulary that will be clearly understood by project teams, co-workers, and users.

What we offer
Compensation: Anticipated salary $83,270.00 - $138,784.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
