Job Description & Responsibilities
The ERP Business Analyst serves as a catalyst in transforming our organizational efficiency by leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Sage X3 ERP ecosystems. This position is pivotal in ensuring seamless collaboration between our business and accounting partners, driving excellence across diverse operational domains such as accounting, supply-chain, wholesale, HR, and retail operations. The primary goal is to harness the power of ERP technology to elevate business processes, empower decision-makers with robust reporting, and establish a foundation for sustained growth and innovation.
Major Functions
Business Process Optimization (40%)
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to deliver tailored ERP solutions, fostering trust and rapport.
- Translate user requirements into effective ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead and actively participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Implement thorough testing and user acceptance processes to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of ERP solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and training to the user community, facilitating seamless adoption of ERP functionalities.
Data Integration and Reporting (30%)
- Streamline data integration from diverse platforms, such as POS, HR, compliance, data lake, and websites, ensuring a cohesive and interconnected ERP ecosystem.
- Design and implement advanced dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing robust data governance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative data-driven solutions.
- Conduct regular assessments of reporting tools and technologies, recommending updates or enhancements.
Collaboration and Team Management (30%)
- Foster a collaborative environment within the high-performance team, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Manage and coordinate activities with both US and offshore team members, maximizing team efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for skill development and training within the team.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, seeking feedback and implementing enhancements to streamline team processes.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration initiatives to promote a holistic understanding of ERP integrations and functionalities.
Please note that the percentage allocation is a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active MED badge in the state of Colorado.
- Proven experience in data integration, reporting, and software design/implementation within a complex environment.
- Proficiency in Sage X3 or other ERP software.
- Background in data architecture, data lake house, and/or reporting.
Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)
- Schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business (typically Monday – Friday 8AM- 5PM).
- Flexibility for evening and weekend work based on business needs.
- Up to 80% travel to retail stores and facilities may be required in a given week.
