Senior Business Analyst, eCommerce - Job Role & Responsibilities

How Will You Make History Here...

The Sr Business Analyst supports the Director of eCommerce on the eCommerce Center of Excellence team, working across Campbell’s Snacks brands and the total eCommerce customer landscape (Amazon, Instacart and Omnichannel). This role leads sales data analysis, trend analysis, general reporting, financial management, and daily monitoring of business trends and performance. Strong cross-functional collaboration is critical, as this role owns monitoring real-time business issues, interpreting data and internal storytelling alongside key internal teams such as Shopper & Consumer Insights. This role will help develop key metric reporting dashboards as well as ad-hoc deep-dive reporting, analysis and recommendations related to online sales trends, category and item-level performance, in-store vs. online share, etc.

What Will You Do...

  • Performs sales analysis and provides both proactive & diagnostic reporting for Campbell's Snacks brands across Amazon, Instacart and Omni customers
  • Partners with the Director of eCommerce on the strategic roadmap for measurement and best-in-class data technology & capabilities
  • Prepare monthly eCommerce reports for organizational distribution (including sales, share, category performance, and digital penetration) by Customer and Brand
  • Work with eCommerce and Omni teams to develop Customer-specific eCom diagnostics and growth opportunities. Evaluate eCom customer plan results versus business plan and communicate issues and opportunities accordingly
  • Assist the Director of Ecommerce and Omni Teams during the business planning process (AOP, T2T’s etc)
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders (eg. Shopper Insights & Consumer Insights) on incorporating eCommerce data and actionable insights into internal presentations
  • Partner with Senior Director of Category Management to provide data and insights on top eCommerce SKU performance by Customer to help inform assortment strategy
  • Monitor weekly consumption, pricing, and distribution trends and communicate to Director of eCommerce & Omni teams
  • Partner with Director of eCommerce and Sales Strategy to report on and monitor eCommerce pricing and profitability thresholds
  • The ability to organize & synthesize data and communicate succinct, actionable insights is critical
  • Presents business results and insights in a clear and concise manner that drives performance
  • Develops strong relationships with various cross-functional groups (eg. Shopper & Consumer Insights) to ensure holistic data storytelling & recommendations
  • Able to plan, schedule, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
  • Solutions-oriented approach
  • Independent & self-sufficient, but also works well in a team setting
  • Must have a curious and learning mindset

What You Bring To The Table...

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of relevant experience: 5+ years of related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Excel

Core competencies: Technical Skills, Analytical Skills, Decision Making Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Written and Verbal Communication Skills

It would be great if you have...

  • CPG retail experience
  • Proficiency in IRI/Circana eMarket Insights

This role is based at WHQ in Camden, NJ 3 days a week (hybrid).

Compensation And Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$82,300-$118,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
