Job Description & Responsibilities
The RAPP team in Chicago is an integral part of Team DDB, am integrated agency team created by Omnicom to develop and deliver state-of-the-art marketing solutions geared towards recruiting best-in-class candidates for the US Army. We are building a modernized platform to target, attract, manage and nurture prospects interested in joining the US Army via state-of-the-art customer experiences, as well as bolster the strength of the mission critical organization protecting our borders. We’re building and configuring marketing technology and communications to drive personalization across the entire recruitment journey.

Your Role
As a Business Analyst, you will support experience management and optimization efforts via detailed investigations and gap assessments with the goal of improving business performance and user experiences. You will partner across multiple disciplines to do deep discovery work into systems and processes to help identify optimal solutions for our clients. You will document use cases and business requirements for your assigned projects which will then be translated into functional requirements by Product Managers.
Your Responsibilities
- Study business processes and analyze existing systems, procedures and documentation for assigned projects.
- Create detailed systems/data/process flow diagrams to show the current state and opportunities for improvement.
- Capture business requirements and user needs via stakeholder interviews.
- Work with Strategy and UX teams to document use cases for desired experience.
- Work with Product Managers to assess feasibility, gaps and dependencies.
- Conduct meetings to collaborate on ideas, present findings, and make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Be accountable for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
- 5+ years of overall work experience or relevant educational qualifications.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience as a business analyst or systems analyst.
- Experience in digital marketing, contact center, CRM, or technical writing a plus.
- Able to thrive independently given direction and objectives.
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to compile, organize and synthesize large amounts of information.
- Experience with business planning tools such as Jira and Confluence, and process mapping tools such as Miro, Lucid Charts, Visio etc).
- Military or government experience a plus.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
