Job Description & Responsibilities
AirStrip, an affiliate company of NantHealth, is adding a Senior Business Analyst to their team! The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing strategic business analysis by working closely with product teams to gain an in-depth understanding of AirStrip business strategy, processes, services, and roadmap. The Sr. Business Analyst will be key to understanding the documentation requirements and capabilities needed to address AirStrip products and will work in a cross-functional capacity to provide technical expertise, due diligence, and feasibility analysis for AirStrip products.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Translate high-level business requirements and architecture to specific technical deliverables to be included as part of a new project proposal and/or existing product lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise for all systems to promote the product and drive towards consistency in delivery.
- Promote best practices and standards for quality in all aspects of technology development from project concept to launch.
- Work in partnership with internal team leaders to conduct due diligence and tech feasibility including managing the development of any prototypes or POCs as necessary to validate new or unproven proposed solutions.
- Participate in the initial phases of new projects to provide technical direction and domain expertise to aid in scoping, prioritization, and technical requirements definition.
- Independently evaluate third-party products, software, and services for enterprise use across the organization.
- Document and transfer any relevant technical knowledge gained in the evaluation of a new product or service to assist and how to integrate the technology into the core computing infrastructure.
- Work with the development and operations teams to maintain documentation of application and systems architecture diagrams and technical specs.
Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the software industry
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience gathering requirements and conducting architecture analysis
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience interacting with all levels of management and stakeholders
- Prior experience working on large-scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational request from the business
- Experience working with product management teams
- Creation of Design and Specification processes related to UI and workflow documents
- Experience writing detailed requirements, epics, and stories
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to both a deeply technical and non-technical audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Familiarity of JIRA and Confluence experience
What we offer
The salary range for applicable applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
- $86,640 - $103,550 annually.
