Senior Business Analyst, Customer Experience - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst is a business expert whose role is to perform analysis of the organization, and design processes and models with an assessment of the business model and its relationship with technology. Regular duties include determining the present state of processes, evaluating their good and bad qualities, documenting models of the processes, and facilitating neutral teams to accommodate new business process designs. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users

About The Role

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to align business functions with organization goals
  • Understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization, and presents compelling arguments in support of proposed solutions to improve general business processes and planning
  • Develop, enhance and maintain process documentation
  • Collaborate with Data Science team to establish data usage and data definition parameters, and develop a process and roles and responsibilities for ongoing management/governance of data
  • Ensure optimal data quality, enhance and maintain business rules, that will improve the effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Identify and communicate the technical requirements for incoming requests from business partners within the organization and prioritize based on business needs and requirements
  • Communicates complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, anticipating and preparing for questions and responses
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • All other duties as assigned
Senior Business Analyst, Customer Experience - Job requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4-6 years of experience as business analyst or related field
  • Strong Excel and Visio skills
  • Knowledge of the creative development and execution process
  • Attention to detail, strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate to C-level both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to contribute to a team as well as complete tasks independently
  • Extremely organized
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), or Professional and Business Analyst (PMI-PBA) or Certifications preferred
  • Experience in identifying key decision makers and collaborating with people both internally with cross functional teams and external vendor
  • Experience in overcoming obstacles, weighing priorities and assessing impact in keeping a project on path
  • Experience in leading projects or initiatives through discovery, design, phased approaches to final completion
  • Experience conducting cost/benefit analysis to show business impact
  • Experience with modeling techniques and methods, preferably using Lean or Six Sigma tools
  • Ability to implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements, evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
