Senior Business Analyst, Connected Vehicle - Job Role & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with team members and business partners to define project scope, objectives, and timelines that align with organization, program and project goals
  • Ensure that all aspects of projects are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project plans, tracking overall progress and achievement of milestones
  • Report project risks, mitigations, and outcomes to appropriate management channels; escalating issues according to project work plan
  • Ensure that all aspects of projects are aligned and adhere to our PMO methodology
  • Serve as the point of communication between company teams and external resources
  • Deepen partnerships within our organization as well as with outside resources, including third-party vendors
  • Coordinate resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Document and follow-up on actions and decisions from meetings
  • Develops comprehensive understanding of business processes and build strong working rapport with business users.
  • Prepare meeting presentation materials
  • Coordinate project and change estimations
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all invitees
  • Ensures projects adhere to the project management frameworks and all documentation is maintained
  • Ensure that standard change management procedures are followed
  • Participate in Business Requirements validation, compilation and documentation.
  • Documentation of Functional Requirements based on BRD.

Required Skills And Abilities

  • 8 to 10 years’ experience
  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements.
  • Work experience with increasing responsibility and demonstrable leadership success.
  • Excellent communicator with strong business analysis and reporting skills.
  • Time management and ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Waterfall software development methodology experience

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Experience in working with offshore teams
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with Service Now
  • Agile software development methodology experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 4 Year college degree or equivalent experience.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 10% to 20% Travel

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid Role - Onsite (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) Remote (Wednesday, Friday)
