Job Description & Responsibilities
At Baxter business analyst liaise with System/Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Process Owners and Business partners to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to improve processes’ efficiency and user productivity. This person would be committed to identifying and developing innovative solutions in a constantly evolving digital world to help implement critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, superb communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems. To clearly convey complicated information to senior leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with Quality System Management process owners and key partners to understand their needs and capture detailed business requirements.
- Capture and analyze data from Quality Management System processes to spot patterns, trends, and insights that can guide business choices and workflow improvements.
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements documentation
- Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states based on business process owner requirements and pinpoints areas for automation and/or improvement.
- Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
- Collaborate with IT and other groups to implement solutions and ensure solutions align with business strategic goals
- Serve as leader with vision for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
- Communicate findings, recommendation and project update to partners and executives.
- Develop structured governance with business owners and IT for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
- Participate in User Acceptance testing to ensure systems are designed to meet business requirements.
Requirements
What Do You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science or STEM related degree
- 8+ years relevant and progressive professional experience in data analysis, design and development.
- Knowledge of Quality Management System in Pharma/Device Industry preferred
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
- Highly proficient in technical writing
- Experience in testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
- Professional Certification preferred.
- Ability to optimally communicate and influence key partners to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
- Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills
- Superb communication and leadership skills
- Proven understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and project management

What we offer
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or long-term incentive.
