Job Description & Responsibilities
This role will be an integral part of the Analytics team within Health System and Government Services. This position will be responsible for understanding commercial and operational levers that impact the 340B segment. This role will be expected to use data and analytics to uncover key insights that can then be used to drive strategy and action within the 340B segment. The 340B Senior Business Analyst will work cross-functionally to identify and execute on data and reporting initiatives. This will include tracking against commercial goals, identifying sources or leakage and new market opportunities etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serves as a subject matter expert for 340B data and reports
- Possesses a deep understanding of the levers and their impact on the 340B P&L and operations
- Supports operational and commercial decision making via business intelligence processes
- Demonstrates proficiency in working with large, complex data sets to identify patterns, correlations and outliers
- Demonstrates the ability to distill relevant insights and showcase them through relevant visualizations
- Proactively develops new reporting tools and models to support initiatives aimed at driving profitability, finding new market opportunities, improving operational efficiency
- Ensures consistency and high degree of accuracy across 340B data and reports
- Effectively collaborates with other cross-functional teams for the purposes of making data requests or collaborating with them on 340B related projects
- Develops and deploy educational processes, training and support for 340B data and reports
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
What your background should look like
- Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, health information management, computer sciences, statistics, advanced analytics or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program; advanced Pharmaceutical degree (i.e., PharmD) and/or MBA is preferred
- Three (3) or more years of experience with analyzing and/or reporting on 340B Program, pharmaceutical, supply chain and/or healthcare data is preferred
- Three (3) or more years of data analyst experience preferred
- Has a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience applying advanced analysis techniques to business problems
- Has experience managing large datasets and performing advanced analytics
- Has experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI (Preferred)
- Has experience using programming language or statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Preferred)

- Demonstrates an ability to review the data for trends, drawing logical conclusions based on these findings
- Demonstrates vigilance in precision of data analysis in order to draw the correct conclusion of findings
- Demonstrates strong collaboration and communication skills
- Demonstrates innovative thinking and problem-solving skills; demonstrates capability of developing new and creative ways of solving complex problems using data
- Demonstrates strong work and time management skills; able to work effectively and independently under tight timelines
- Demonstrates strong quantitative skills; math / computer science
- Has proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Has experience with data visualization tools such as Dimensional Insight DivePort or Microsoft Power BI (Preferred)
- Has experience using programming language or statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Preferred)
- Has experience in data mining techniques, and knowing when their use is appropriate (Preferred)

Salary Range
$95,800 - $147,620
This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
