Job Description & Responsibilities
ICE Data Connectivity and Feeds, Inc., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange Inc., is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Historical Data product team based in London. The Historical Data product offerings are global in scope and serve a broad section of the financial services industry.
The selected candidate will work with the Product Management team and will be responsible for the day-to-day success, and development of the ICE Historical Data products. The Business Analyst has a broad remit requiring the successful candidate to act as part of the SME team as well as engage in Business Analysis activities. The Business Analyst is responsible for defining, prioritizing, planning, and executing on the vision for our Historical Product offering as well as representing and supporting the Historical Products across both internal and external engagements.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert across the Historical Product offering
- Execute on the established product roadmap and go-to-market plans set out by the product management
- Work with global teams from across the business to optimize internal processes
- Liaise with development and QA teams to deliver new features and resolve issues
- Maintain awareness of competitive offerings, and solicit regular feedback on suitability, challenges, and suggestions for enhancement to the product through conversations with all client facing teams
- Work alongside the product management to translate vision into documents and wireframes
- Perform UAT on new functionality or datasets
- Support commercial teams in strategic client engagement and retention activities
- Prioritize requirements, engage in business analysis activities, and create specifications, wireframes/mockups to be used by development teams
Requirements
Knowledge And Experience
- Previous experience Solution Engineering or Business Analyst role within the financial market data space
- Desire to work on both data and functionality projects
- Knowledge and experience using query languages for the interrogation and transformation of data e.g. SQL, Python. Basic level coding experience in .NET, Java, C++ is desirable
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of market data feeds and APIs (deployment, access, delivery, and monitoring), both normalized and native
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to supervise, organize, prioritize workload and work on numerous projects/tasks at one time
- Ability to work with technical teams (QA and development) as well as sales and end users
- Software Jira, Visio (or other diagraming tool), MS Office
- Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline
Schedule
This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
What we offer
Base Salary Range for New York Candidates
The expected base salary for this role is between 105,000 - 130,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
