Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Sr. Business Analyst, Product Information Management (PIM), will work as part of the IT Business Engagement team to expand Logitech’s PIM solution, work on Product Data Governance and assist with Web and Digital activities associated with new product introductions and marketing promotions. This will be a remote work-from-home position located in Dallas, Texas in the United States.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for commercial product data (eCommerce, Global Web Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing) to understand and document requirements, perform impact analysis and adequately scope initiatives - time, resources, cost.
  • Act as a dedicated business / solution architect to define and document the functional solution design. Liaise with other functional / technical teams [Enterprise / Technical Architects] for specialist input to drive the solution delivery.
  • Work with the data governance team, apply detailed rules and requirements around product data, and contribute to the development and enforcement of governance standards.
  • Help define, report on and monitor key product data quality metrics.
  • Be a change agent in the process improvement and template standardization efforts across the business segment and digital platform teams.
  • Understand the other IT verticals with the wider IT Organization, their core competencies and how they can be brought into the discussions to drive and enable business opportunities.
  • Participate in documentation, training, testing and delivery efforts in concert with other team members
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective
  • Be one of the first points of contact for user support and problem solving
Senior Business Analyst - Job requirements

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with product data management systems, digital marketing systems, data analytics or related field
  • 2+ years experience with a Product information Management (PIM) system (e.g. InRiver) or Master Data Management (MDM) system preferred
  • Thorough understanding of activities involved in new product introduction, familiarity with the product life cycle preferred
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) or similar digital content management activities such as Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Engineering and/or IT.
  • Ability to bring a consulting approach to help business solve issues and challenges
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies. Agile/PMI /PMP /CAPM Certification a plus
  • Excellent verbal, active listening and written communications skills that should be equally effective with IT, marketing, and sales
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members

In Addition, Preferable Skills And Behaviors Include

  • Knowledge of Digital River eCommerce solutions, Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Knowledge of website data analytics
  • Experience with managing websites that span multiple countries and locales, working with translation management software to manage global content
  • Good understanding of data integration tools

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $98,000 and $132,000.  In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
