Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

Kearney & Company is hiring a Senior Analyst to provide consulting support services for a federal financial system implementation project. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated critical thinking skills; strong customer service capabilities, knowledge, and experience with federal financial management processes; and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization using multiple media. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide hands-on functional consulting support to the project management team
  • Understand and represent the customer’s needs in day-to-day tasks
  • Effectively execute stakeholder engagement and communications activities (i.e., develop communications plans and distribute communications work products)
  • Update and maintain project SharePoint sites
  • Participate in and provide recommendations for communications, stakeholder management, training, and other change management tasks
  • Support, maintain, and monitor the internal project schedules that are aligned to the integrated master schedule
Senior Business Analyst - Job requirements

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a BBA
  • Minimum 3.5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to develop communications messaging and products for targeted stakeholder groups including executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive)
  • Experience executing strategies for effective workforce transition and/or experience on a financial process improvement project with the ability to identify efficiencies and provide recommendations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with financial systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or system implementations
  • Minimum 1 year of stakeholder and customer engagement and/or communications experience
  • Federal consulting experience centered around financial systems, organizational change management, and/or stakeholder engagement
  • Agile Certification
  • Technical editing experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of a Federal financial workforce
  • Demonstrated ability to develop content for professional documents
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
What we offer at Kearney & Company

The expected salary range for this position is between $66k and $95k. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
