Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Business Analyst to work 2 days a week onsite in our Newark, New Jersey office. The BA will drive the collation, creation and maintenance of various types of business and user documentation. This individual will work with the Business, IT and functional partners and senior leads to gain and analyze business requirements and build crucial business documents, including but not limited to business requirements documents, user stories, process flow documentation, user documentation, etc.
Work-Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides financial, analytical, and modeling expertise to build quantitative models for business projects
- Identify, coordinate, and implement initiatives/projects and activities that create efficiencies and optimize processing.
- Conducts complex quantitative analysis as it applies to areas of responsibility, generally aligned to specific transactions and products.
- Develop specialized analytical tools for projects or ongoing use.
- Develop conclusions and courses of action to rectify discrepancies as well as analyses
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends a course of action and best practices to improve products, processes, or services
- Leads cross-functional teams or projects with significant resource requirements, risk and/or complexity
- Mitigate operational risk by proactively flagging issues and trends through real-time reporting capabilities
- Bachelor or Graduate degree in Business/Analytics (preferred)
Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst within a financial services firm.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data and Reporting Analytics Software.
- 2+ years of Python Programming with Proven data mining and data analysis expertise, pandas is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in SQL, PowerBi, Cognos, Oracle, Altair (Monarch), Microsoft Access
- Advanced level in statistical analysis and modeling tools
- Experience supporting critically important platforms/applications desirably in financial services industry.
- Must demonstrate sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information.
- Detailed oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a team setting.

Salary Range: 80,000.00 – 90,000.00 USD annual
