Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst analyzes data from multiple business units to view customer interactions comprehensively. They design, deliver, and execute analytics and insights to drive business decisions and new strategies. This role involves utilizing internal data sources, market data, industry expertise, and knowledge to facilitate analytics throughout AAA's web and application products. The position requires close collaboration with leaders from AAA, Inc. across various digital, brand, product, and marketing departments while nurturing solid relationships with them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages insights for AAA Clubs, Association leadership, and partners that focus on solving business challenges, supporting business decision-making, and improving KPIs for assigned business lines.
- Consult with assigned business lines to gather requirements, analyze information, and report insights in a clear, understandable, and actionable way.
- Manages projects to ensure timely delivery of products and services to departments, Association leadership, clubs, and partners.
- Oversees multiple project activities, interfacing with the customer, technology team, and participating clubs/partners to ensure that projects meet established business objectives and technical quality standards.
- Participates with the management team in developing data and insights strategies and roadmaps to support club, Association, and partner initiatives.
- Lead the sharing of best practices for digital measurement within AAA and with partners and influence the adoption of these practices.
- Manages, complies, and shares regular digital channel performance reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
- Engages in agile frameworks and methodologies to create transparency and operational efficiencies and ensures data accuracy.
- Investigate data anomalies, identify core issues, and work with the information technology, development, and QA teams to resolve them.
Requirements
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:
- Clear understanding of digital marketing analytics, which includes analyzing data from various channels, websites, mobile, social media, search, and display ads.
- Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and excellent data analysis skills. Ability to extract and analyze data from multiple sources and provide insights on that data.
- Ability to think strategically and approach problem-solving with a curious attitude.
- Ability to synthesize findings into essential insights and communicate them effectively to senior management.
- A strong understanding of digital and online product terminology and expertise in related concepts and technology is essential.
- Experience leading complex projects and processes, working closely with business stakeholders as a consultant or advisor.
Education & Experience:
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, or mathematics must have at least three years of related experience.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience and relevant certification (Tableau, Adobe, and Project Management) are required.
- Experience developing and executing business intelligence roadmaps for stakeholders.
- Expertise in Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, and Tableau desired.
- Demonstrated skills in developing data visualization techniques.
What we offer
Hiring Range:
$ 65,000 - $76,000
This position is eligible for participation in the AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
AAA is committed to paying competitively and equitably. The posted range for this position represents competitive compensation based on market data, internal equity, and the skills and requirements of the position. Your qualifications and experience will be the best compensation offered.
