The Senior Business Analyst - Operations is a critical role in helping transform the PAR Services business. The Senior Business Analyst serves as a liaison between operational service lines, supporting various quality and performance measurement initiatives throughout the organization through participation in the development and maintenance of reports, scorecards, and dashboard tools. The Senior Business Analyst develops and maintains a robust, working knowledge of the business area that they support.
The Senior Business Analyst is a subject matter expert on the key drivers and measures of success for this business area and demonstrates a thorough understanding of the short-term and long-term direction of the Department. The Senior Business Analyst is expected to demonstrate outstanding customer service actively.

Position Location: Remote - United States
What You Will Do And Be Responsible For
- Work with Operations staff to develop and maintain performance measurement processes (database development, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment).
- Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and provide meaningful data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Conduct operational analyses and interpret results to support business stakeholders in making strategic decisions.
- Design and build custom reporting and dashboards to support the Services organization
- Dive deep into large data sets to answer key business questions
- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, while automating or simplifying self-service support and access to authoritative data sets
- Interact frequently with leadership to facilitate discussions of existing data products while assessing unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements.
- Spearhead the development of Processes and robust measurement frameworks, aligning them with business objectives to ensure accurate tracking/reporting.
- Partner with customers and internal teams to investigate and apply/track solutions to issues.
- Develop subject matter expertise around service and support operations and their relation to performance measurements.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Business Analyst, Statistical Analyst, or similar role
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Knowledge of data analysis and experience analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Proven ability to mine data and use it to back up assumptions and test hypotheses
- Experience working with senior leaders to define requirements, reporting needs, and presenting findings to executive team members
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience in SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
