Job Description & Responsibilities

About the role and why it’s unique:
- System Administration:
- Audit System Access: Perform regular audits of system access permissions to ensure compliance with security protocols and organizational policies
- Manage Software Lifecycle: Collaborate with IT and vendors for system upgrades, handle new software requests, manage contracts, and oversee software resource consolidation.
- Streamline Employee IT Integration: Facilitate IT processes for onboarding new employees and off-boarding departing staff, ensuring timely updates in system access
- System Integration and Data Management:
- Integrate Business Systems: Work across teams to integrate business systems with other applications, enhancing data flow and productivity.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Implement data validation and backup procedures to maintain integrity.
- Support Data Migration: Assist in data migration for system upgrades or
- System Analysis and Improvement:
- Enhance System Efficiency: Analyze system performance, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions to boost efficiency, usability, and functionality.
- Keep Abreast of Trends: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, recommending new technologies or approaches.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain System Records: Keep an updated record of business systems, detailing departments using each system and understanding varios access roles.
- Create System Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation, including configuration details, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
- Generate Performance Reports: Produce reports on system performance, usage metrics, and other key indicators.
Requirements
Who you are:
- Proven experience in business systems administration or a similar role, with at least 6 years experience
- Strong knowledge of enterprise-level business systems.
- Proficiency in system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with users and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Even better if you have:
- Experience with start-ups
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies or systems are a plus.
What we offer
Our targeted compensation rate for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000, depending on experience, plus equity. Think your skills are exceptional and warrant higher pay? Apply anyway! If we agree, we're willing to negotiate.
