Job Description & Responsibilities
OPTIVIQ Inc. - With roots in the Pulp & Paper Industry spanning nearly 40 years, OPTIVIQ Inc. holds the exclusive worldwide license for the sales, distribution, and support of OptiVision® in the Pulp and Paper Industry. OPTIVIQ is owned by Constellation Software Inc., a buyer and holder of vertical market software companies throughout the globe. Position Summary
This role is responsible for supporting project implementations by providing deep expertise in Optivision MES for the pulp and paper industry. The candidate will help customers integrate Optivision into their operations while minimizing disruptions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert
Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all customer-facing features and modules of the Optivision MES.
Serve as the primary resource for customers and internal teams regarding Optivision functionalities.
System Capabilities and Integration
Work with key project stakeholders to understand and communicate the business vision, and plot the scope of the project.
Assist in transforming high-level goals into realistic functional implementations of the Optivision application within the pulp and paper industry.
Support Project Implementation
Actively participate in customer projects by providing Optivision expertise and support during implementations.
Provide training and resolve issues related to the integration of Optivision with existing systems and processes.
Requirements Gathering
Collaborate with customers to gather detailed requirements and identify how Optivision can meet their needs.
Translate customer needs into actionable plans for implementation and identify any gaps within Optivision’s capabilities.
Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
Define what the project or process should achieve (functional requirements) and how it should operate (non-functional requirements), ensuring alignment with Optivision’s capabilities.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Lead UAT processes for Optivision, ensuring that features function as designed and meet user expectations.
Project Documentation and Detail Elaboration
Work closely with the implementation team to ensure they have the necessary details to execute tasks related to Optivision.
Presentations and Public Speaking
Create and deliver presentations on Optivision features, designs, and business requirements to internal teams and customers.
Team Leadership and Mentoring
Lead project teams and mentor junior analysts, particularly in the context of Optivision implementations.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Creative Thinking: Ability to generate new ideas and solutions for implementing Optivision.
System Thinking: Understanding of how Optivision integrates within the larger manufacturing execution systems landscape.
Decision Making: Convince stakeholders of the best approach for utilizing Optivision to solve business challenges.
Problem Solving: Break down problems analytically to find solutions within Optivision’s framework and provide pros and cons for decision-making.
Communication Skills: Work harmoniously within a team and communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills And Experience
Experience with the Optivision Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the pulp and paper industry
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage systems-related projects.
Prior experience providing support or consultation for MES or similar systems.
Experience working directly with project and customer service teams.
What we offer
The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.
