Job Description & Responsibilities
Senior Business Analyst for large underwriting system development and enhancement projects in the Property/Casualty industry. Responsible for business requirements efforts, liaising between business and technical teams, leading JAD/Requirements sessions, developing requirements documentation, use cases, user stories, end-user documentation, developing test plans, test execution, and coordinating production roll-out activities.
Requirements
Position requirements include:
- 8+ years business analysis experience with large-scale, enterprise-wide information technology projects and systems
- Property/Casualty experience and policy administration systems experience are strongly preferred;
- Agile methodology and Agile tools (e.g. Rally) required
- Experience with Insurance policy administration packages (Duck Creek, Guidewire, etc.) preferred
- Strong SDLC and Requirements Methodologies experience are required
- Strong analytical skills, business process re-engineering skills, and data analysis skills
- Ability to interact with senior business and technology management, and work within a large, matrix organization model
- Experience with testing, test planning, and execution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, multi-task, and be a team player
Strong organizational skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, remain organized with competing priorities and adhere to project deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree
What we offer
For positions based in Jersey City, the base salary range is $90,000-$120,000 . In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits
