The Global Infrastructure and Media Technology team is responsible for delivering impactful technical solutions, empowering the organization to navigate a complex entertainment landscape! We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help us architect platforms and operational services that serve as the foundation for our growth and financial success. To make this a reality, the team focuses on several initiatives including infrastructure reliability, consolidated operations, innovation, and optimization. Come join our innovative team!
Overview & Responsibilities
- Ability to collaborate across business groups, technology, finance, and vendor teams to establish a target vision aligned with business and organizational needs.
- Develop financial and operational analysis of major pivotal initiatives, identify key issues, define corrective actions, and strive for resolution.
- Drive the planning and analyses across all key initiatives in the business to enable more productive operations.
- Implement operational and critical initiatives by capturing and synthesizing pertinent data, leading analysis efforts, and communicating final recommendations that will drive short-term and long-term growth.
- Provide strong problem-solving leadership related to crafting strategic focus and operational approach for emerging business initiatives.
- Build engaging materials laying out management strategies, and prepare cost/benefit analysis for potential solutions.
- Partner closely with Finance and other Paramount tech business units to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and goal setting, and provide insights and rationale for decisions, supported by requisite data.
- Lead multi-functional collaboration with other Paramount teams/organizations to deliver against project management plans.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of work experience in a strategy role in an entertainment, media, or technology company, or management consulting company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information concisely to a variety of audiences including senior business unit executives.

- Enthusiasm for media, entertainment, sports, and technology.
- Self-sufficient problem solver who can think creatively and independently.
- Ability to handle relationships with collaborators of varying levels of seniority.
- Knowledge of project management principles and standard methodologies.
- Strong organizational, analytical capabilities, financial modeling, and critical thinking skills.
- Able to work independently and multi-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management skills including experience with Waterfall, Agile, etc.
- Cloud certification is a plus (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with technology tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office, JIRA, ServiceNow (PPM Module), Asana, Windows, Linux, VMWare.
What we offer
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 130,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
