Job Description & Responsibilities
The SR Business Analyst (Sr. BA) performs role of business partner by understanding business processes and ensuring that the systems they create and maintain support their needs. The BA elicits requirements and produces functional documentation. In addition, the Sr. BA is tasked with performing QA (quality assurance) and leading UAT (user acceptance testing) and project coordination duties.
Primary Responsibilities
Must be able to perform all of these:
- Works with business partner to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs.
- Clearly articulates and documents business requirements.
- Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies.
- Engages with knowledgeable workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems.
- Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues.
- Mentors junior business analysts on standards and best practices
- Reviews and suggests ways to improve the overall business processes.
- Creates and executes test scripts.
- Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
- Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
- Communicates on behalf of project sponsor and team to expedite project delivery.
- Ensures that all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the change management software.
- Helps to manage ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction with IT.
- Able to manage, communicate for, and supervise enterprise-wide projects.
Additional Responsibilities
- Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Maintenance and Support. Defines, develops, and implements Quality Assurance (QA) practices and procedures, end user test plans and other QA assessments.
- Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance offering recommendations for updates or changes. Ensures continuing operational quality by documenting bug fixes, enhancements, and updates. Assigns tasks to development, testing & training staff as required.

- Capable of working independently, a self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements.
- Understands the business issues and data challenges of the enterprise and industry.
- Demonstrates excellent talent for analysis, translating findings through organizational skills to solve business problems.
- Excellent communicator with strong business analysis, reporting and presentation skills
- Expertise in business planning, management, problem solving, customer focus & relationship building.
Education/Experience Requirements: BA/BS with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
Work Environment
- Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)
- Travel: 10-20%
What we offer
Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $80,500- $114,900 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
