Manager Business Analyst, Web & Research - Job Role & Responsibilities

This position is remote - East Coast preferred. There is opportunity for an individual to work in the Bennington, Vermont or Charlotte, North Carolina offices periodically if candidate resides near those locations but is not required to.

The Digital Analytics Manager leads efforts for capturing, analyzing, and reporting on website, app, and user data in support of product development, marketing and promotional efforts, A/B and user testing, as well as personalization.

  • Utilize Google Analytics, GA4 and other web analytics tools to monitor product performance and consumer behavior
  • Serve as an expert for internal reporting on marketing activities, trending, sales, etc.
  • Translate complex quantitative and qualitative data sets into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Manage inbound requests for one-off and ongoing data analyses and reporting
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices regarding Google Analytics eCommerce, and web analytics and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization
  • Promote an internal culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Work with engineering team to maintain data integrity through the appropriate use of tags and tracking implementations
  • Provide definition for KPIs, metrics, and support goal-setting activities
  • Proactively design, develop, and maintain dashboards around user, market, and behavioral research
Manager Business Analyst, Web & Research - Job requirements
  • Bachelor's or hands-on experience in information services or quantitative discipline (mathematics, data science, statistics, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics tools, market research methodologies, and business intelligence platforms (Google Analytics/GA4, Omniture, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Proficiency with MySQL and relational databases for ad-hoc and in-depth analyses
  • Comprehensive storytelling capabilities and proficiency in synthesizing the “what/so what/what next” of complex technical topics to connect with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and propensity for cross-functional communications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with distributed teams and resources across geographies and time zones
  • Passion for continual learning and personal/professional growth
  • Interest in/experience with automotive, marketplaces, subscription/membership models a plus
