Job Description & Responsibilities
The Manager, IT Business Analyst partners with the business to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes. The Manager, IT Business Analyst identifies and documents problem statements, business value, and business requirements. In addition, the Manager renders each respective output in the form of a professional project charter, business proposal, and comprehensive business requirements document (BRD) or user story map to be consumed by functional analysts and facilitate execution of solution delivery. The Manager, IT Business Analyst partners with the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and broader IT team to help ensure projects respect the PMO Lifecycle, including but not limited to, the post implementation assessment of realized benefits. The analyst interacts with system architects and developers to ensure the system is properly implemented. Lastly, the Manager assists with testing the system and creating system documentation and user manuals.
Duties And Responsibilities
Business Requirements Elicitation:
- Assess, derive, and understand underlying problems using common techniques such as Root Cause and Fishbone Analyses
- Capture project objectives and goals and define project scope to develop and present a project charter to management
- Elicit and understand business requirements using either a traditional or Agile methodology to produce Use Cases or User Stories
- Model the As-Is and To-Be processes using standard flowcharts and or cross-functional process maps
Project Delivery and Quality:
- Deliver quality service. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes and on budget
- Effectively manage communication between department Leads and the developer team regarding project guidelines and expectations
- Create, update, and prioritize tasks in Jira with Product Owners / managers
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 7 years Business Analyst Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Other Certification of Competency on Business Analysis (CCBA)
- PMP - Project Management Professional
- CSPO
- PSM-I
- Other PSM-II
- Other SCRUM Master
Languages
- Spanish Preferred
- Portuguese Preferred

What we offer
This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers.
- The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $113,000-$129,000 per year
- Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
