Lead Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

You Are

UST is looking for a Business Analyst to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

The Opportunity

  • Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
  • Work with all stakeholders being impacted by business system and/or business process changes; where applicable; to ensure all changes are managed back into the business in a way that minimizes impact to the customer.
  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
  • Understand current system and work with business on laying out requirements.
  • Participates in developing and/or modifying requirements, business design specifications, user training and documentation.
  • Research and documents business issues.
  • Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
  • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
  • Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
  • May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.

Lead Business Analyst - Job requirements

What You Need

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence
  • Healthcare Insurance Domain Experience
  • Experience with Agile or Business Process and Analysis methodologies.
  • Excellent in writing effective documentation including but not limited to requirements, process flow maps, and use cases.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a goal-oriented team.
  • MS Excel and MS Word proficiency.
  • Experience in medium to large scale enterprise applications. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/or external customers.
  • Should be able to create user stories, extracting all the information from the desired features/epics.
  • Should be able to work with different teams, cross domain and detail the features.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $68,000-$102,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
