Job Description & Responsibilities
The Lead Business Analyst independently analyzes and interprets business pain points and system enhancement requests, with the goal of providing recommendations and effectively defining requirements for validation by stakeholders and execution by the Enterprise Applications team. This position is designed to support our system enhancement process, as well as lead cross-functional automation projects, with the objective of increasing the efficiency and scalability of business operations. Business Analysts also support these projects by managing elements of User Acceptance Testing and solution enablement. This position will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and within the team to ensure that the objectives of key transformation and automation projects are successfully achieved. The Lead Business Analyst is able to visualize current business processes, identify areas viable for automation and present the quantifiable impact of identified areas of optimization with limited oversight.
Responsibilities

- Review new project requests, manage stakeholder expectations and create requirement documentation
- Perform as solution engineer and design automation solutions for business and technical stakeholder approval
- Use consultative approach to interpret and understand individual business needs and translate into solutions that balance end-to-end requirements across the business and application functionality
- Create Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and conceptual data models to facilitate the visualization of automation workflows
- Execute hands-on design and delivery of high impact automated solutions
- Lead automation projects with transparency, trusted collaboration, and partnership while maintaining timelines, risks, and multiple priorities at the same time
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of mapping documents by validating mappings with business stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Establish key metrics that present the value of delivered automations
- Coordinate UAT sessions to ensure requirements have been met, features optimized, and timely approval
- Manage review and prioritization of company-wide process optimization projects / initiatives
- Assess data migration activities for acquisitions for process improvements
- Manage process improvements for inbound enhancement requests and prioritization
- Coordinate status meetings and other stakeholder communications
- Perform as liaison between departments and developers/consultants
- Provide guidance/mentorship to more junior members of the team
- Additional responsibilities as required
Requirements

Qualifications Include
- 5+ years of extensive experience in business analysis and process design, preferably at an enterprise software company
- 5+ years of experience in a technology setting working with internal CRM/ERP/BI tools
- 1-2 years of experience in a project management-oriented position
- Proficiency in understanding basic SQL principles and syntax
- Proven Salesforce Platform hands-on configuration experience with associated certifications preferred
- Demonstrated experience with capturing requirements from business users and translating them to technical staff for development
- Ability to visualize and present to all levels of stakeholders current state process, future state process, and the value proposition of automations
- Experience in data analysis and proficiency with associated tools, including Salesforce Reports and Dashboards, Domo or similar BI application; Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, and vlookups
- Self-starter, results-oriented, entrepreneurial style
- Prior hands-on project management or equivalent project lead experience
- Ability to conquer challenges and manage multiple competing priorities
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills; able to communicate and effectively influence outcomes at all levels of the organization
- The ability to work cross-functionally to effect change in our systems and our data
- The willingness to dive into the detail to resolve even the smallest of issues
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, process automation, accounting, related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $120,000 – $135,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters
