Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Business Analyst to join our team at Majesco. In this role, you will be tasked with understanding a client’s business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements. You will support the communication and delivery of requirements to relevant stakeholders and the development team. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable working directly with customer contacts to understand business needs and strategic objectives, and have the ability to create requirements, business process diagrams, and or use cases that can be used to deliver changes or new software solutions. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will collaborate and partner with the project team to manage risks, solve complex problems and create successful outcomes that ensure an industry leading customer experience.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document the client’s business requirements and transfer to the development team.
• Evaluate the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys, and workshops.
• Document and verify the analysis via Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams.
• Prioritize requirements with clients and track the development progress during each Sprint.
• Participate in Sprint Planning meetings to ensure client needs are being addressed as necessary.
• Provide suggestions to the development team during the development stage of product to meet the client’s business needs.
• Communicate effectively with client’s and internal teams to deliver functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs.
• Document the results of analysis and workflows, as well as obtain sign-off from the appropriate parties.
• Act as a partner to client’s, assisting them with strategic planning regarding their claim’s strategy.
• Design and execute test scripts and test scenarios.
• Manage any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines.

All about you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution; Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum 7+ years Business Analyst experience in an IT environment, preferably Agile.
• Proven experience of project delivery using Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) or Domain Driven Design (DDD) techniques.
• Experience and knowledge of Disability Claims Management or Absence Management.
• Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze relevant data, and document complex business processes.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Hands on experience with Salesforce is preferable.
