Job Description & Responsibilities
ManTech DTCD is seeking a sharp and motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this unique role, you'll gain valuable experience in both the user support world and the world of software quality assurance (QA). We offer an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to innovative IT consulting projects for our Federal Government clients.
Job Description:
As a Junior Business Analyst, you'll play a dual role, providing both user support and software testing expertise. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to learn the ropes of both areas, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the IT lifecycle. This is a HYBRID position that is located in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help Desk Support:
- Provide first-line technical support to our clients, troubleshooting user issues and resolving problems efficiently
- Document support interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical resources
- Stay up-to-date on the latest software and hardware functionalities to provide effective user assistance
- Software Quality Assurance (QA):
- Assist senior QA analysts in developing and executing test plans to ensure software functionality meets user requirements
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying bugs and defects
- Document test results and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues
- Business Analysis Support:
- Assist with requirements gathering and analysis tasks for IT projects
- Help create user documentation and training materials
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support or customer service environment (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Experience with testing tools and methodologies
Security Clearance Requirements:
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $56,200-$93,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
