Job Description & Responsibilities
Primary liaison between the CCL Business organization and the Information Technology team. Effectively communicates application development needs to the application development team in a manner consistent with CCL's Systems Development Methodology. Applies technical skills to identify, analyze, and communicate business processes, business requirements, and business rules in a complex, multi-system environment.
Essential Functions:
- Write complex Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and convert BRDs into Functional application specifications, high level designs, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with key business sponsors in mapping and documenting core business processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, and translating these into value added BRDs.
- Use best practices and industry standards to write solid and maintainable Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, Traceability Matrixes, Project and Test Plans.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with business clients, management, and peers throughout the project full lifecycle.
- Perform gap analysis, defect identification and tracking, and manage issues and risks to closure.
- Work closely with project managers and demonstrate understanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and project planning disciplines.
- Apply careful attention to security, Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) technologies in application development when writing requirements, specifications, high level designs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree Preferred
- 3+ years of business analysis and technical experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience with cruise, airline or hotel electronic distribution systems, including core user and system interfaces.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point, Axure or similar tool.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Facilitation skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.
- SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Preferred
- Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) Preferred
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: Less than 25% ship-based travel
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
What we offer
The range for this role’s base salary is $55,000 - $79,500. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

- Holidays – All full-time and part-time with benefits employees receive days off for 7 company-wide holidays, plus an additional floating holiday to be taken at the employee’s discretion.
- Vacation Time – All full-time employees at the manager and below level start with 14 days/year; director and above level start with 19 days/year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.
- Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
