As a Business Analyst, you will develop and evaluate analyses and reporting used to provide insights to decision makers around complex business problems, by integrating mathematical and predictive analyses, operations research, and business analysis skills to manage and analyze complex business data. A Business Analyst should understand and anticipate both business and data requirements, suggest opportunities to identify additional insights by leveraging data across sources, and determine follow-up actions to share insights that drive decision-making to address specific business needs.

Responsibilities
- As you begin to learn the business and understand its needs, you’ll create structured frameworks to answer business questions. You’ll also evaluate data to address specific needs and answer questions, identifying data issues and escalating accordingly.
- You will conduct and interpret appropriate data analyses to answer business questions. With guidance, you’ll also critically evaluate assumptions about data and analysis methods, and provide feedback on analytical tools.
- Under guidance, you will create presentations using dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and more to tell stories of analyses. As you do so, you’ll ensure presentations provide information accurately, clearly, and appropriately.
- Under direction, you’ll determine the factors and/or data types to include in evaluations. You’ll report the results and identify any relevant connections to other work.
- By building cross-team relationships, you’ll develop expertise in data sources, methodologies, tools, and processes. You’ll then implement methods for making reporting and analytics self-service, and will recommend potential ways to automate data collection, reporting, and analyses.

- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics
What we offer
Business Analytics IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $64,800 - $130,100 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $86,400 - $142,700 per year.
