Job Description & Responsibilities
The Wealth Management Business Analyst will be responsible for owning all reporting requests, providing the management and analysis of business data for use in decision making and organizational improvement initiatives. The Business Analyst will be tasked with reviewing firmwide reporting, will review and analyze and variances, and research root causes of change. In addition to reporting analysis, the Business Analyst will also manage Executive and board-level KPIs and dashboard summaries. This role will be aligned to the Finance team and report to the Chief Financial Officer, but will also support and partner with the Technology, Platform Management, Growth, and Wealth Advisory departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on financial data
- Integrates data from multiple sources and functional areas, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and managing updates and reconciliations when needed.
- Writes queries and generates reports to provide data for various analytical projects
- Interprets data to identify business trends and conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies
- Helps develop KPI calculations for Executive and Board level reporting, and creates effective dashboards to summarize standard metrics
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Four-year degree from an accredited university
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in an RIA environment with audit, accounting, or investment performance exposure
- Strong math and computer skills, especially Excel
- Experience with Black Diamond and Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills; quick to respond
- Analytical thinking skills with close attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality levels
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and productively from home; being available during normal business hours as if working in an office with the team
What we offer
Expected annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 plus incentive compensation. Salary is negotiable based on location, experience, and qualifications.
