Job Description & Responsibilities
Accountable, organized, and collaborative, the Business Analyst, Transformation engages with business stakeholders and internal technology teams to capture business requirements; document current, interim and future workflows; create user experience mockups and perform and manage user acceptance testing.
This position requires attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience gathering & documenting requirements from business stakeholders, producing professional workflows, report & UI prototypes & mockups, and understanding and coordinating UAT with business user groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lever deep relationships with our business engagement and technology counterparts to build cohesive, end to end solutions for our business users.
- Lead backlog grooming sessions and execute demonstrations of system and user tools functionality.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst Manager to create and maintain business requirements and document workflows across business functions as it relates to Orion’s business products and services
- Manage the end-to-end product life cycle including requirements gathering, design & delivery and production handoff.
- Produce high quality report and dashboard mockups and/or prototypes for business stakeholder and data developer review
- Identify opportunities to standardize report and UI designs across the Operational workstream
- Fully document product features and designs ensuring that acceptance criteria is clear and measurable
- Collaborate across teams, including technology and architecture, to identify the best technical solution for a feature, product and or report
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product management, software development or similar field
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in the technology, finance or media industry
Minimum 2+ years business analysis experience, including:
Gathering business requirements
Writing product and/or technical specifications
Working with development teams
Managing product roadmaps and launches
Expertise in the SDLC process, with a focus on scoping, testing and deployment
Experience with Agile methodology and associated toolsets (e.g., Jira)
Experience using MS Office Suite (e.g. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint), Monday.com and/or Salesforce
