You Will
The Technology Department is a critical driver and enabler for the Girl Scouts movement. This is where technical expertise, such as application development, data engineering and infrastructure support all reside to deliver the best experience for girls, volunteers, and supporters. Directly tied into strategy and innovation, technology solutions crafted in partnership with councils and business partners range from proof of concepts to deployment of highly complex and critical systems. We deliver technology expertise across all the disciplines and key business systems for the GSUSA application portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities
The Technology Business Analyst, IT Incident Response plays a vital role on the Foundational Services team by developing and leading a comprehensive, organization-wide incident response management program. You will proactively work with application, security and operational teams, as well as third party service providers, to facilitate and manage a centralized and repeatable incident management response from alerting to after-action activities.
The Analyst, IT Incident Response will apply technical competence and business acumen to organize varying technical teams throughout the incident response process, and ensuring all SLAs, communication requirements, root cause analysis and other actions are met. The Analysts with a focus on processes, and also have some general technical knowledge. They will be facilitating responses with the technical/engineering teams and alert them and bring all the teams together to get it fixed. Must have 3-5 years’ experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Primary Duties Of The Position

Assist with establishing a centralized incident management program across disparate technical response teams and tools.
Lead incident management response activities to facilitate a coordinated solution with internal and external executive, development, IT operations and DevOps teams.
Coordinate post-incident activities such as Root Cause Analysis, After-Action Reviews, Walkthroughs with senior leadership, and periodic reviews to ensure the effectiveness of remediation controls.
Participate on the Change Advisory Board and leverage broad technical knowledge to satisfy specific process requirements, such as obtained approvals, testing criteria is met, rollback procedures are documented, etc.
Manage documentation in regard to incident response, communication plans and change management.
Conduct trend analysis on incidents across the technology ecosystem (on-prem and SaaS) to identify actual or potential recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions.

Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex requirements concisely and accurately.
Ability to coordinate and communicate across all organizational levels and technical competencies, including executives and third parties.
Must have broad technical competencies across various IT domains. I.e. IT operations, development, cyber security, etc.
Highly organized and efficient, with strong project management or business analyst, multitasking and organizational skills.
Must work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments and third parties, including technology, project management, and more.
Required Technical Skills
Office 365 or similar suites
Competency in PowerPoint or similar presentation software
Competency in Microsoft Excel or similar software
Experience in managing various incident response teams in an organized manner.
Strong task and incident management systems such as Jira, RemedyForce, etc.
Experience using formal chain-of-custody methods and best practices.
You Need
Degree or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in corporate environment
Required Field of Study:
Business Analyst, Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline
Certifications Requirements:
Business Analysis Certification a plus.
Position Type: This is a full-time position.
What we offer
Salary Range: $58,000.00 -$90,000.00
Must have 3-5 years’ experience.
This represents the present low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
