Media Bridge is an agency in Minneapolis, MN that combines media buying and creative services to help clients of all sizes grow and win. We are seeking a full-time Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. This individual will have the opportunity to take ownership and help create the roadmap of our agency's technical product.

What You'll Be Doing As a Technical Business Analyst

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, objectives, and goals and communicate those goals to the data team and developers.
• Map and prioritize those goals to key business initiatives
• Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create detailed documentation such as use cases and process flows
• Work closely with data engineers and development teams to ensure the technical feasibility and accuracy of the proposed solutions
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making
• Perform gap analysis to identify areas where current systems fall short and recommend enhancements or new technology solutions
• Collaborate with project managers and developers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of developed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are free of defects
• Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders during the implementation and post-implementation phases
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in technical analysis and business process optimization

IDEAL BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven experience working as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically and strategically think
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements using industry-standard tools and techniques
• Experience with data analysis, database queries, and reporting tools
• Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and technology infrastructure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) are a plus

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE

We anticipate that this person will be most effective onsite at our office in the North Loop area of Minneapolis Monday-Thursday due to the work style of the existing team. The person in this role will routinely work remotely most Fridays, and we will consider an additional routine remote day during the week after initial training is complete. That being said, we do understand that some days are more productive remotely, and we offer additional remote flexibility as needed. Note that parking is paid for by Media Bridge when employees are required to work onsite.
