Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Technical Business Analyst on the Solution Engineering team, you will be responsible for partnering with our key clients to understand their business needs and facilitating the translation of them into Solution Designs within our product stack and the clients’ technology ecosystems. You will become a subject matter expert, with a breadth of knowledge across these technologies/products, along with their points of integration.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as an internal and client-facing technical strategist and subject matter expert for critical projects and engagements in North America:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our proprietary platform, SwitchboardTM, and our product stack, as well as the customization of development possibilities
- Develop an understanding of key clients’ technology ecosystems and applications of our product stack into that ecosystem
- Provide guidance on what’s possible via our out-of-the-box solutions vs. customization
- Help account teams and clients with strategic, Product/Tech conversations and deliverables
- Lead requirements gathering and refinement, feature-mapping, and full stack solution engineering for key client business initiatives through collaboration with client stakeholders, Product, Engineering, and Account teams.
- Provide ownership of the overall Coates solution to key clients/initiatives
- Serve as the client point of escalation for individual requests and their requirements, solution designs, and effort estimations
- Lead the definition, alignment, and documentation of Solution Designs, translating business/product requirements into technical needs and actions and maintaining them throughout the SDLC
- Partner with Account and client-side Product/Tech functions to deliver Solution Designs which meet their business needs
- Lead and host Client Demos, Training, and Testing (UAT and QA)
- Understand and adhere to the terms of the contract between Coates and our key clients
- Partner with Product and Account Management to understand client requirements and priorities
- Champion and advocate solution design and engineering best practices, influencing Engineering teams
- Communicate and collaborate with managers, stakeholders, clients, and contractors
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Multiple years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Technical Analyst / Technical Analyst for software development activities
- Experience with requirements management or change management systems
- Experience balancing multiple and/or competing priorities successfully

Salary Range
$100,000/yr - $108,000/yr
