Job Description & Responsibilities
The SAP Business Analyst serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with SAP. Responsible for defining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating SAP solutions with appropriate business stakeholders. Provides guidance and leadership to associate analysts in process analysis, configuration and implementation methodologies within a particular functional area.

Responsibilities:
- Work within IT project teams and be responsible for eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyze the requirements, document them in User Story or Business Requirements Documentation and Acceptance Criteria Format.
- Work closely with technical staff to ensure requirements are understood and delivered to the business.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements.
- With management guidance and direction, capable of working on small and medium scope projects that require functional knowledge and experience.
- May lead and direct the work of associate analysts.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree, preferably in related field.
- Generally, requires at least 4-7 years of experience in one or more SAP functional areas; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and expertise within one or more functional areas and has at least some familiarity with other SAP functional areas.
- Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
