Job Description & Responsibilities
AIG is on a multi-year transformation program to standardize and centralize reinsurance processing. We are looking for an experienced Reinsurance Application consultant who will be key in technical design, integration, and development. In this role, you will be working with the Sapiens Technology delivery partner to ensure their solution meets AIG’s Reinsurance business needs, aligns with AIG’s technology strategy, and can be rolled out to a Global AIG Reinsurance portfolio. The multiple integration points, complex Reinsurance deals, globally disbursed data sources and high standard for accuracy make this an exciting and challenging role.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for integrating the Reinsurance technology platforms and enabling seamless end to end Reinsurance business processes by defining process flows, data flows, etc
- Will lead or participate in business requirement analysis and documentation of workflow and procedures that will integrate with our global Reinsurance solution
- Perform data mapping, functional design, reconciliation, and support target state architecture
- Develop user stories along with business and work with the development team to implement them
- Ensure data lineage and data governance for reinsurance financial data across systems
- Strategize the migration of legacy reinsurance solutions to Sapiens
- Perform QA responsibilities: developing, estimating, and executing test plans and communicating testing status regularly with project manager
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience working in the Insurance/Reinsurance industry
- BS in Computer Science or relevant IT experience; Accounting Degree is a plus
- Finance, Insurance Accounting, Insurance, and Reinsurance Collections knowledge are a plus
- Experience with integrating reinsurance data from UW to downstream applications
- Experience with using reinsurance platforms and technical accounting
- Proven ability in turning complex reinsurance agreements into automated technology solutions on the Sapiens platform and ensuring end-to-end integration with downstream receiver systems.
What we offer
For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $90,000-$120,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
