Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Business Analyst with experience in QA, User Acceptance Testing and Production Support to join our Ecommerce Team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in release processes, extensive experience with JIRA and knowledge of Salesforce. As a QA Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ecommerce platform, providing high quality operational, technical application and systems support, contributing to the overall success of the ecommerce business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies for ecommerce initiatives across enhancements, releases, marketing content launches, A/B testing and more.
- Develop comprehensive plans and test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.
- Ensure quality delivery across US and international sites.
- Document and track defects using JIRA, providing detailed descriptions and reproducible steps for development teams. Build out JIRA tickets for business and UX stakeholders and funnel through the development cycle based on key prioritization.
- Conduct regression testing, focusing on business and merchandising use-cases, to identify and address any issues or defects in new and existing features.
- Work closely with Ecommerce lead, developers, and product managers to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement of the ecommerce platform and process.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferred focus on Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in ecommerce
- Strong proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking, project and release management
- Ecommerce CMS or Content Management System experience.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Proficiency in French
Location: New York, NY (Tribeca)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote)
What we offer
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
