Job Description & Responsibilities
Product Business Analysts, professional level 2, of the Product Management subfamily in the Product job family is responsible for corporate strategy and allocation, product-level P&Ls & priorities, and operating rhythm. The Product Management subfamily is responsible for product-level strategy, product roadmap, and capital allocation, as well as product-level operating rhythm. Product Business Analysts will author product requirements for a product or set of products. The professional level 2 role will Act as a subject matter expert on customer needs to guide R&D teams to build the right solution for the market. The role will collect and analyze data for potential business expansion.
Expected Duties:
- Product Business Analysts will define the root causes of business problems with general guidance
- Expected to elicit, generate, and refine product requirements for new and existing system functionality
- Responsible for documenting requirements in software development lifecycle artifacts
- Product Business Analysts will contribute to the preparation and review of test procedures and reports
- The role will test out the business processes and recommend relevant improvements
- Expected to provide support as a project team member as needed
Requirements
A level 2 professional position is expected to be able to perform simple to moderately difficult/moderately impactful aspects of the role independently. The role will support seasoned peers and management on difficult to complex aspects of the role. The individual will develop professional expertise within the role and be able to apply MeridianLink policies and procedures to resolve a variety of subject area-related issues. The individual within the level 2 professional role will be able to determine a course of action based on MeridianLink guidelines and make judgments to modify processes and methods as required.
- Be able to work on problems of a moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to apply learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent work experience)

Salary range of $78,100 - $110,300. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
