Business Operations Analyst – Global CX
PlayStation is for everyone. Consumer Experience (CX) provides global services, including outstanding post purchase customer care, hardware services, and online platform safety. Our focus is to build and retain brand loyalty by representing the extraordinary entertainment ecosystem on PlayStation!
We are looking for a hard-working Business Analyst who can support and lead global contract administration, compliance and financial management. As a team member within CX, you will collaborate with business collaborators, legal counsels, vendor partners and finance partners globally!
This role is based in San Mateo, CA.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Manage all contractual agreements globally.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies in all contracts.
- Maintain a detailed contract management system, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to address and resolve any contractual disputes or issues.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Assist the lead with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for executive presentations.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement including quarterly return on investments, actuals and forecast reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely creation of purchase orders, invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of financial and contractual activities with organizational goals.
- Provide financial and contractual insights to support business development, operations, and pivotal initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners within Consumer Experience and other internal teams and external 3rd parties
Requirements
Business Analyst Skills:
- 5+ years consistent track record as an analyst in handling high profile global contracts and large budgets
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, financial principles, compliance and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and contract management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage several priorities and meet timeline.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams worldwide and with senior partners
- Ability to multitask and context switch and work efficiently on low level detail
- Self-motivated and highly organized
