Business Analyst, Operations - Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst specializing in Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in bridging data from Salesforce with strategic decision-making. Your expertise will directly support our Sales, Marketing and Customer Support teams, as well as GMs, by providing the metrics, reports and insights needed to enhance our business processes and increase team efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

Metrics, Reports, and Dashboards Development:

Design and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards to aid decision-making for:

  • Sales: sales volume, conversion rates, team and individual performance (new business and back to base).
  • Target Market: coverage and engagement.
  • Marketing: channel performance and prospect engagement.
  • Initiatives: sales volume and penetration.
  • Customer Overview: attrition, health, and engagement.

Ensure data consistency and compliance across all companies:

  • Continuously improve the current Salesforce setup and user experience.
  • Implement best practices and provide ongoing training to users.
  • Standardize all metrics and reports.
  • Maintain and optimize all current reports/dashboards.
  • Inform management of data discrepancies and compliance issues.
  • Onboard new Salesforce users.
  • Oversee data maintenance by the data hygiene team.
  • Automate data updates to minimize manual work.

Build and maintain Salesforce Integrations:

  • Maintain and optimize Sell for seamless quoting.
  • Assist marketing with Account Engagement management and optimization.
  • Help maintain Service Cloud and Cloud Coach for the service team.
  • Integrate Great Plains.

Manage Standard Price Sheets:

  • Create and maintain standard price sheets for new deals and B2B sales.
  • Ensure compliance and standardization across all business units.

Streamline commission calculation:

  • Ensure consistency in recording GP across the group.
  • Allocate the correct revenue to all involved departments.
  • Create an automated commission booking process.

Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency: 2+ years of experience with any CRM tool, preferably Salesforce.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to link analytics with business outcomes and suggest reports and dashboards aligned with business goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Competence in interpreting complex data sets and deriving actionable insights.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Skill in identifying issues within data streams or operational processes and proposing practical solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of all reporting and analytics tasks.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in sales operations and analytics.
  • Detail-Oriented: Precision in handling data and attention to detail in creating reports that support decision-making processes.

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $96,000.00 - $144,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.

Benefits (US Only):

Full time employees will also be eligible for enrollment in a wide range of choices of benefits , including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, short/long term disability, 401(k) participation (with company match).

Time off (US Only):

The Company provides a minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employees , sick time based on state requirements, 8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per year.
