Business Analyst, Manufacturing - Job Role & Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Business Analyst for our sunny Irvine, California site. We are looking for a dynamic, inspiring, energetic Business Analyst who collaborates, knowing that diverse talent, skills, and perspectives lead to better outcomes. A Day in the Life

As a Manufacturing Business Analyst, you are responsible for timely modeling and reporting for production support in the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices. You will be responsible for collecting data and then analyzing it to make improvements to the manufacturing process. Data reporting and training of the business intelligent system.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate trends and provide analytical solutions
  • Use SAP/BI to anticipate issues and implement preemptive solutions
  • Cross functionally lead projects and teams within area of responsibility
  • Responsible for coaching peers in areas of expertise
  • Develops, enhances, and/or analyzes reports for manufacturing
  • Analyze ERP data and take appropriate action as needed
  • Develop appropriate relationships with key partners to meet business needs.
  • Appropriately communicate significant issues to internal customers
  • Collects data for analysis and makes recommendations for improvement within the manufacturing processes
  • Provide BI training and data analysis reporting, with continuous improvements
  • Design and implement methods to capture supply chain data
  • Responsible for modeling sophisticated manufacturing scenarios
  • Production Admin support as needed to support day-to-day activities

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs.; Assoc.+4 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Work hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-5pm
  • Travel Requirements: No travel
  • Relocation assistance & Sponsorship: Not available

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • Proven examples of Data dashboard development and maintenance (Tableau)
