Business Analyst, Loans - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Loan Administration Business Analyst will play a key role in our department’s advancement in Reporting, Process Automation, and Data Visualization. The Analyst will gather requirements from management and business unit leaders to assist with process improvement and analyze system configuration/ business rules to design and assist in implementation of process solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the business units to identify reporting needs such as exception reporting, control reporting, auditing reporting, summary reporting, and AdHoc reporting.
  • Responsible for the development and management of individualized Department Dashboards which will showcase the departments day to day work load, and monthly Executive Summary Dashboards.
  • Data mine the departments large data sets to provide insights into possible reporting opportunities, review established reporting with Business Units and look for areas of opportunity for advancement in process, request changes as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Provide analytical solution support for the Business Units by researching and developing solutions.
  • Document process and workflows; identify potential gaps; address through remediation.
  • Assist in the development procedures and job aids to support business unit usage of process solutions.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 Years of Mortgage Servicing Industry
  • Understands how to capture business requirements, testing of changes.

Desired Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 year’s experience in rudimentary SQL queries
  • 1-2 year’s experience in Data Visualization Tools (Ie, PowerBi, Tableau, etc)

Work Authorization : Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
