Business Analyst, Insights - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Business Insight Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert of a commercial water product category to the business. This analyst position will be a critical resource to drive business strategy and will need to keep abreast of the market dynamics – understanding the numbers, players, and trends. This will require digesting large amounts of data to pull out the key insights for both the sales teams and senior leadership. This role will require travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis using multiple data sources to gauge market dynamics including macroeconomic trends in the industry, market share drivers, Rheem & competitor’s performance.
  • Strategize with the sales teams to apply actionable data insights to the market to drive sales.
  • Present to leadership key learnings from data analysis to enable effective decision making.
  • Guide the data specialist on what reports/dashboards need to be established to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor pricing metrics and draw informed conclusions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to develop sales forecasts for New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Provide input to the Finance team for the macroeconomic outlook for the annual budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, equivalent experience, or any combination of both.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in sales or data analytics
  • Proficiency in computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point).
  • Experience in Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and/or other analytic tools.
  • Must have ability to navigate through large amounts of data and identify key information.
  • Ability to tell a story with data and develop presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Pay scale of this role based in Colorado and Washington is $77,600 - $124,100. The pay scale for this position in California, New York City, New York or Connecticut is $83,808- $134,028 Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
