Business Analyst, Global - Job Role & Responsibilities

The primary role of the Global Business Analyst, within the Global Commercial Excellence department, is to focus on acting as a consultant to the organization when it comes to understanding processes, identify opportunities for improvement, harmonization and automation, organize/aggregate and represent actionable data and coordinate cross-functional needs with the commercial team in Europe, North America, and High Growth Regions along with other departments globally.

The Global Business Analyst supports our Vision to optimize commercial processes via strategic assessment, innovation, and efficient execution to deliver a premium experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the global Salesforce Assessment of Processes, Quality & Analytics and help defining the Priorities within the CRM Process & Analytics Roadmap
  • Identify differences and inconsistencies, but also best practices on current standard work followed by the different Regions and work towards consensus & standardization of processes, definitions, reporting and Dashboards
  • Work independently and closely with different Stakeholders to harmonize & define advanced global CRM analytics, process & system development partnering with the Commercial Systems Team, supporting users across the regional commercial teams
  • Work closely with the Commercial Systems team to ensure data governance, proper maintenance of the tools and controlled access/security rules.
  • Partner with the Commercial Systems team driving the execution of key projects to harmonize, improve and enhance our CRM system & processes that have direct business impact
  • Support the regional commercial teams with insightful forward-looking analytics, metrics, intuitive tool & features, that help standardize and drive growth initiatives
  • Apply VES and define best-in-class Funnel management standards with the Sales Leadership team & Commercial Operations ensuring consistent focus on key opportunities, best practices, ultimately ensuring a forward-looking view on future growth
  • Support the Design of the Future State Forecasting models via Coaching of key SMEs associates on Salesforce
  • Develop standard documentation related to CRM testing/ monitoring, quality audit process, business practices and compliance.

Business Analyst, Global - Job requirements

Education and Background

  • Minimum of BS or BA in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3+ years successful experience in an analytical role, 4+ years preferred.
  • High proficiency of Excel skills including pivot tables and functions
  • Moderate to medium experience in CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, Infor
  • Desire to improve current processes and data quality in source systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with non-native English and native English speakers.
  • Proven experience working with key stakeholders at various levels within a matrix organization.

Skill Requirements

  • Ability to lead tasks effectively, taking ownership, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Ability to deliver reporting and analytics efficiently and accurately with ability to course correct requirements if necessary.
  • Creatively and consistently highlight areas for improvement and future developments.
  • High emphasis on being data quality and detail oriented, able to cross-check data accuracy (from back-end to front-end)
  • Utilizes critical thinking to analyse and simplify complex processes & programs.
  • Communicates effectively, ability to translate complex concepts through simple words and visuals.
  • Process oriented - able to develop and install sustainable processes and work towards consensus
  • Utilizes time effectively, using daily management of activities, and prioritization to meet deadlines (identifies sense of urgency and immediate impact versus daily tasks).
  • High degree of computer skills (Excel, SMART Sheet, Power Automate and other Automation Tools, PowerPoint, ERP/CRM systems, etc.)
What we offer at Hach

The salary range for this role is $95,000-$120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
