- Work with large amounts of data and utilize multiple systems to research, audit and analyze information
- Interpret data requests to identify business case and data requirements
- Capable of developing reporting tools, processes and procedures
- Quantifies data to assist in developing reports, to determine the financial impact of claims processed by pharmacies
- Identify and research data discrepancies or anomalies to ensure clean data analysis
- Participates in process improvements and projects, supporting master data initiatives
- Continually works to develop the specifications for ad hoc report requests and enhancements to existing reports
- Participates in projects that require data quality testing and produces metrics and samples for further analysis
- Identifies opportunities and supports the development of automated solutions that will enhance the quality of enterprise data
- Lead development efforts for new reports for internal use and program partners
- Build dashboards in CRM tool for audit purposes
- Work directly with IT on development efforts and data analysis efforts
- Able to lead projects that involve new types of data ingestion
Requirements
What your background should look like
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, business administration, information systems, data science or related degree with a minimum two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Typically has 1+ years work experience and knowledge of data quality assurance, data analysis, and data modeling.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy environment/industry, pharmacy reimbursement.
- Aptitude to source data from internal and external sources to gain business insights.
- Acumen to generate clear, concise and comprehensive analyses that tell the story behind the data and that promotes a high level of credibility with stakeholders.
- Understanding of enterprise CRM. (SalesForce) system (reporting, analysis, dashboards)
- Familiarity with data visualization and statistical analysis tools. (PowerBI Dashboard Design, Tableau, Qlik, SQL)
- Ability to work independently with general direction.
- Ability to implement and manage projects / processes aimed at driving simplification, standardization, or adherence to policy.
- Sound expertise in financial / mathematical / statistical modeling and analysis.
- Proven ability to work analytically; synthesizing vast data into relevant, actionable information.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team environment.
- Very strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good presentation skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft Suite applications. (Word, Project, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- Minimum knowledge and understanding of IT database management systems and tables.
