Job Description & Responsibilities
Nakupuna Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst II. The Business Analyst will w ork as a member of an Agile project team to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information; create, track and ensure timely delivery of project documentation; analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement; build cross-team coalitions; and support change management activities.
Responsibilities

- Interpret data and analyze results to create complex and professional documents that communicate project aspects to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases to support analytics and project metrics reporting capabilities.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with technical staff to organize and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
- Synthesize complex technical information into lay terms.
- Develop and distribute documentation to build understanding of technical concepts.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Use judgement to select the best communication medium to convey content; may include use of graphics, diagrams, charts, etc.
- Standardization of content with a high level of attention to detail allowing for delivery of documentation with minimal error.
- Participate in daily Agile team meetings, client and milestone meetings; maintain ongoing awareness of project status.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments.
Requirements

Education/Experience: This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information.
The following experience is desired:
- Experience working in Agile Project Management Environments
- Experience in projects involving direct client delivery
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
- Experience with Qlik and other data analytics software tools
- Use of Atlassian Tool Suite, Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Project Management principles associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); in particular Planning, Implementation, Testing, Documentation
Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Public Trust security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements: In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use stairs without assistance
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, carry, reach, kneel, crouch, bend and climb a step stool/ladder
What we offer
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $74,500.00 to $110,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
