Discover Impactful Work:
As a Business Analyst in the Customer Data Profiling team you’ll be informing the data-driven decision making processes for our sales and marketing teams. Your work will help us to understand our customers and better serve their needs. At the same time, you’ll be building up your own skill set to take your career to the next level.
A Day in the Life:
80% data processing:
- Sort and categorize raw data based on project standards
- Search through additional data sources including public records and company records to add to project database
- Clean and re-validate existing data
- Meet weekly data processing goals to ensure delivery of project commitments
20% supporting projects for the team, learning new technical and professional skills, creating dashboards, writing SQL queries, and additional tasks as required. These will be tailored to the individual’s interests and professional goals as much as possible.
Requirements
Keys to Success:
Education
Bachelors degree, or 3+ years equivalent experience; a degree related to Linguistics or a foreign language, Biology or other lab science, Information Management, Math, Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing, or similar is helpful but not required.
Experience
- Previous work or volunteer experience of at least one year with the same organization
- Experience with Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Salesforce, and/or Python are helpful but not required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- REQUIRED: read and write German, Italian, or French. Candidates without one of these three languages will not be considered. Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
- Accurately type 35+ words/minute
- Excellent Internet search skills, with the ability to think of multiple approaches when the first query does not give desired information
- Able to maintain work speed and data quality while working on repetitive processes
- Able to learn new processes quickly, and adapt to changing work standards
- High level of attention to detail
What we offer
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $66,000.00–$99,000.00.
